Striking landscape and captivating Temple

Tungnath is a beautiful temple which situated in Rudrapryag District in Uttrakhand. It is one of the Kedar out of the "Panch Kedar" and highest temple of Lord Shiva in the world(3680 meter form sea level). Its demography in a specific manner from where you can witness two separate valley from one place, first one Alkannada Valley(Badrinath) and second one is Mandakini Valley( Kedarnath).


According to Hindu Mythology Tungnath(lord of Peaks) was establish my Pandvas and Chandrasheela peak which situated just above the temple, Lord Ram meditated on it.


How to reach here - First you have to reach Rudraprayag which is 170 km far from Haridwar, and from here you have to reach Chopta, approx 60 km from Rudraprayag. From Chopta you have to cover 5 km distance by foot to reach Tungnath.


Visibility of Nandadevi Peak, Choukabha Peak make its Local Sightseeing captivating.
