TVS Apache RR 310S aka Akula 310 has been spied testing on India roads for quite a good number of times now. The upcoming TVS flagship is slated to be launched in India in July 2017
TVS Apache RR 310S is based on the Akula 310 concept model that was put on display at the 2016 Auto Expo. The detailed spy shots of the TVS Apache RR 310S show that the bike will be integrated with an Anti-Lock Braking System ( ABS) that might come as an optional feature.
Powering the TVS Apache RR 310S is the same 313cc, single cylinder engine that runs the BMW G310R, cranking out close to 34 bhp of power and 28 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission. Stand out features of the TVS Apache RR 310S include beefy inverted forks up front, full digital instrument cluster, dual projector headlamps and a super sporty design language.Once launched, the TVS Apache RR 310S will challenge the likes of KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Yamaha YZF-R3 and upcoming Benelli Tornado 302R in the segment. The bike is expected to come at a sticker price of INR 1.8 lakh
