I am from Chennai hence I bought TVS Apache bike in 2009 from Ramky Motors Velacheri, Chennai.
The 1st service alone was good thereafter the bike developed some problem or the other, I was forced to write a complaint to TVS Motors GM, that is when the bike problem was attended to, but again some problem or the other in bike I faced after service, I earned the authorised service centre’s enmity, they made sarcastic remarks in a indirect way on my subsequent visits for free service, so I again took it up with TVS Motors and asked them to direct another authorised service centre to look into new problems of my bike. The so called other service centre by name sathya motors were worst, they lied that the spares have been changed on me giving complaint to TVS. that is after I gave my bike for service to them.
I could not trust them, I contacted TVS Motors but in vain the staff who was dealing with me stopped talking to me over the phone.
I wrote a letter to TVS but no response, so I gave up, the Satya Motors of Chrompet the service guys were arrogant, my bike front disc break made noise after service, they said it is nothing only oil service keep riding it will become fine. I kept riding but I still find some sort of noise when I apply disc break.
I stopped giving for paid service due to bad authorised service centres of TVS at Chennai.
After a year I gave my bike for service at same Ramky but not the Velacheri service centre this time I gave my bike for service at ’Medavakkam service centre’ of Ramky. I with lots of hesitation gave the bike hoping that service must be good this time since all are new faces and new service centre.
The service was good not as bad as it used to be in Velacheri Ramky or Satya Motors. Only the service charge was Rs.600 + spares Rs.220.
Thank god it was better, the service personnel seemed good, they also did some oil service to my disc break same noise I could feel but it has subsided as I went for long ride. At Satya the oil service gave the disc break noise and a bad feel on riding. Mileage is still poor after service at Ramky Medavakkam.
TVS Motors wake up, concentrate on after sales service, start from your home Chennai, have service feedback team at TVS head office, give email address of the top level management in your website for customers to inform the deficient service if any and resolve customer grievances to their satisfaction.
