Vibrations in Bike

Vibrations, Vibrations, Vibrations, in almost every review, i m reading this word. But nobody knows what is actually vibration?or what is the difference between Vibration and Engine revving.

And nobody even care to write on this issue as most of the bikers are unaware of the mechanical funda’s... So guys there are 2 points:

1.try this while driving:when you are speeding at around 80kmph or more, press the clutch and don’t give any throttle, leaveit idle...your RPM will come down automatically.., then check it..what r u feeling that time:smoothness or anything else.....I must say you should feel smoothness....if yes then your bike is perfectly alright...if not then there is problem....

2.While starting for the First time..Idle RPM should be 1400 +/- 100 (this is for my bike)....for others it will be

different....so that should be maintained....any major or slightest of variation will make difference...as it is directly linked to

Piston and Crankshaft movement..And Yes everybike is having Flywheel for reducing the Vibrations. The Vibration in bike depends on lots of other factors like Engine Balance, Wheel Blance(don’t get confused with Wheel Alignment), Ground Surface and Aerodynamics...this last one is very important in bikes....

The other possibilities are like Material Fatigue..This is also very important....Many of you have felt that while driving bike for long in Traffic on 1st and 2nd gear frequently....after that bike will behave something heavy...means may be not that smooth...

.Apart from above 2 points...Mechanical default from the company itself is possible.I m waiting for replies...any suggestion will be highly appreciated....and if I m wrong then do tell me...

cheers
