I have purchased TVS APACHE RTR 160 in Jan-2014. Since then I am driving this bike. Bike is awesome when it comes to looks, power & mileage. Bike is light weight with low wheelbase which helps in moving through city easily.
Mileage: - City - 40-42 KMPL Outside / Highway - 48-54 KMPL
Good Things: - 1) Looks: - No match for looks of bike simple & sporty blend of both.
2) Digital Meter Consol: - Meter consol ia digital, having so many functions apart from normal Speedometer like Trip Meter -1, 2; High Speed Counter; 0-60 KMPH time counter, Clock
3) Fuel Efficiency: - 45-55 Overall
5) Suspension: - Nitrox filled suspension do the juatice. They are best suspension . Suspension have been made HARD to provide stability to bike at high speed. At low speeds we can feel roads pathole but once the speed increases( 30 KMPH & above) it becomes plush ride.
Negatives: -
1) Major Problem: - Vibration in Fifth Gear during speed from 45-58 KMPH. This vibration spoils the fun of driving the 160 CC bike. Though vibration is not beyond 60 KMPH but we normally drive in the range of 45-75 KMPH most. So, this is not good from our physical exertion point of view. It makes tired so early while driving.
2) Braking / Tyre: - Be cautious while braking( Front / Rear both) . Tyre tries to skid . Replace original tyre with CEAT tyres for good grip. Forget about emergency braking in RAINY SEASON.
