I own a TVS Apache RTR 160 bike of 2009.
The bike is in a good condition. I have completed 19800 kms. The bike does give 130 kmph speed. Mileage depends upon the riding conditions.
In city at 45 kmph speed mileage would be 45 kmpl. If 70 kmph then mileage 37 kmpl.Maintenance has been general. Yearly once I service it at TVS authorised service center.
Pros: Front disc break. Clear lens indicator lamps. Powerful head lamp. LED clear lens tail lamp very safe both in day and night.
Pilot lamps. Pass light. Service reminder. Less fuel light on dash. Digital speedo, odometer, fuel gauge digital, trip metre. Last high speed display. 5 gears. 15.5 BHP great power. Big fuel tank of 16 liters. Good stylish exhaust or muffler.
Very good resale value. Big tyres. Nitro gas shock absorber. Adjust shock absorber spring yourself. Alloy wheels.
The cons: not good for long continues ride of 100 kms. You will get back ache. Neck pain too.It has ordinary tyres not tubeless. More a performance bike than an economy. Less mileage. Single spark plug.
