I am very happy & lucky to be given an oppurtunity to give my opinions & feedback though mouthshut.com. Your continued responses have prompted me to once again update my current status. I am hopeful that my feedbacks will not bore you out like any politicians speech.
Before I start I brought this RED TVS APACHE on 15/09/2015 From AVIAN TVS, O.P. Road, Vadodara - 390020, bearing Reg. No. GJ06 HQ 7203. At present I have completed 4000 kms & completed 3 services. I have used the fully sythetic engine oil which has brought noticable changes in my bike. Vibrations have completely vanished & it’s hard to believe that the very bike which was commented to have vibrations is super smooth now.
To those who already have this APACHE, old or new, I will recommend to use fully synthetic engine oil & petrol with additives. Also please keep air pressure 28/32 for front/rear tyres. To those who are planning to buy a new bike & are searching on net & mouthshut regarding APACHE please seriously consider buying APACHE.
Vibration was there in older models but in the new design, it has vanished. Besides some natural vibrations will be always present in performance/sports bikes due to high RPM operation. Whether you buy APACHE or any similar class bikes please remember to use fully synthetic engine oils.
They can guarantee a smoother operation. For whom is APACHE suitable? well its for those who seek passion while driving to work or back to home. This bike has a bit of everything. Its having a good pick up but not like sports bike. It has a decent mileage but not as a 100cc commuter bike. The Bike created a new 160 class which has inspired even HONDA to launch Unicorn 160.
This itself proves APACHE’s position amongst the performance bikes. APACHE is not a quiet bike but it grunts & when it grunts, it makes its presence on the asphalt. Very few bikes are only there which can stand to its performance. In its own class, its the reigning king. Nothing comes close when APACHE roars! Its not a tourer like HERO KARIZMA but please, guys with tourer/crusier bikes please watch your backs.
Long & continous cruise can create back problems/complications. You can confirm this with any Ortho doctor. Best is not to drive continously for more than 20-30 minutes.
Take a break & then continue. What are the drawbacks of APACHE? Vibration was the only major issue but not now. Atleast not with me. If Vibration is removed then APACHE has practically no issues except mileage. Mileage again is not bad compared to similar class bikes. Its maintenance cost is low compared with bikes of similar class. APACHE has a bit of everthing & It will serve you no matter how you use it. Only pay attention to timely service & tyre pressure.
