Over all braking experience in Apache is better with 270 mm petal disc brake against 260 mm circular disc brake in Pulsar 180. Petal shaped disc has better heat dissipation(more surface area) and lesser weight(high power to weight ratio).
@ 6500rpm, Apache delivers better torque of 15.5Nm against Pulsars 14.2Nm. Low maintenance( but yes, costly spares). Brakes, clutch and gear levers in Apache are made up of forged aluminum alloy.(unique feature)
Last thing that fHugeITs all Apache riders is its unique sound. Go and try, you will love it. I read somewhere that the sound was specifically engineered to differentiate it from its peers.
