I bought Jupiter early this month. Actually it was my sister’s choice to buy one. There are lots of quality concerns that came into my mind after examine the scooter.
The seat is not of good quality. you can easily feel the iron rod under the seat. The foam used to make the seat is very very soft that lacks comfort of riding the scooter. The pickup, brakes and top speed is just satisfactory. Although its a light weight scooter but doesn’t gives you confidence of riding it freely on long rides. The seating posture is fine, don’t makes the driver tired after a long journey. The top speed of scooter is somewhere around 80-90kmph and fuel economy of 30-40 kmpl that makes it not so fuel efficient if compared to other scooters available in the market. The looks are also outdated. Its looks similar to activa of 2008. So no point of speaking about the design of it.
TVS Jupiter is overall an’OK’ scooter nothing more special in it. Infact it lacks charging point and a book night light . if you want that you need to spend extra on it. If you are looking for a cost efficient, heavy duty and durable scooter don’t go for this one.
