I bought this TVS Jupiter in Sept , 2016 ( Black ) . Excellent moped to drive around. I just love driving it.
Looks :
I just got attracted to it on hearing the sound from silencer and its looks. The matte finish looks are too good but difficult to maintain. I got a glossy black one. The safety guard around it is really helpful when people park their mopeds beside the jupiter , it might get scratches or something if safety guard is not provided by TVS. Make sure you put it up.
Performance :
I love mopeds because of their mileage and storage capacities. The Jupiter functions like a charm. It gives a mileage of 49/50 to me as I always ride on Economy Mode. I think there’s no fun in riding it on power and going fast. Better drive it slower and enjoy your ride. Even if you dont give it for servicing , it won’t trouble with any other issues. Just that the brakes may be squeaky in monsoons but otherwise you wont face any issue .
Features :
It has got the largest diameter for its wheel base , due to this it doesnt slip away at turns .
Its the only moped to have those pass lights which you wont get in any other moped .
5L Petrol tank. 1L Reserve.
Totally comfortable even for long rides and roadtrips ( I went to Lonavla ) .
Seat width is perfect. Not too wide and not too narrow.
Mileage is I think the highest it has got if you ride it on Eco mode.
It has also got Eco / Power indicator .
So basically if you’re looking for a budget moped , this one is totally worth it. Just Go for it.
