We bought our scooty pep in 2006, primarily because my mother felt comfortable with its weight and driveability. However, I felt most service centers of TVS fall short of expectations. Most problems aren’t corrected most of the times. The fuel gage shows incorrect reading most of the times. There is no good way to know when oil level is low and if the service guys have really replaced it. Also, just after four years, the engine is up for overhaul which I believe is too bad for a vehicle. Also, we face constant random switch offs which is quite frustrating.
Apart from this, the vehicle is really good for women and for navigating short distances. The auto gear also helps a lot while driving in traffic.
It is a good buy if you don’t mind a short life for the vehicle.
