HI guys..for those of you who have already read my review on ZING 80 you might think that I would recommend this scooterette but I don’t thnk so it deserves a BUY?....WELL its a viable alternative to the HONDA’S or NOVA’S...the SCOOTY PEP is good but it is definitely a scooterette[F] ..It is surprisingly expensive ..It is just Rs 3000 less than the activa...If you think you cannot handle a full SCOOTER but need a machine that approaches the NOVA’S or ACTIVA’S..in refinement and feel...then I would recommend it..
BUT those who can’t handle the ACTIVA’S or NOVA’S.. I HAVE seen 9th grade KID’S going to school on it..
SO LET’S talk about the Pro’s;
1..........good old TVS gives gr8 service for thier PROduct’s...NO problem with the spare parts too ..
2...........This scooterete handles gr8 [TAKE MY WORD FOR THAT]
Con’s
1.....IT IS UN REASONABELY EXPENSIVE... you can get an ACTIVA for Rs 3000 more..
2.......it has GR8 handling but the tires are OF VERY CHEAP QUALITY....Pep Owners complaint about FRequent punchers....AND when it rains forget about taking this vehicle on road because its tire slips dangerously on the tarmac..[count my word for this]
3...It doesn’t have a great built quality its so called ABS plastic is of the poorest quality
4..........it doesnt even give DECENT MILEAGE....nova 115 or activa give better mileage .. IN REAL LIFE DRIVING CONDITIONS IT JUST MANAGES TO GIVE JUST 51km|Lt..IN highways this may increase to 56Km|Lt [who takes this one on high ways] SUSPENSION IS better than other scooterette’s [zing 80 spirit etc]
SO I AGAIN SUGGEST GO FOR THE activa OR wait till Bajaj launches IT’s NEW Wave Dtsi scooter [it has telescopic front suspension an UMBRELLA HOLDER]............. I OWN A NOVA 135[AAHO] it has been working great ......
