We bought this scooter on 2000 (second hand) at that time this scooter looks cool... my weight is around 65kg, it can touch maximum of 60kmph with me and 40kmph with pillion...
I maintained this bike by providing service for every two months this was my first motored vehicle after cycle(during 7th std) so I felt this scooter better than its actual :) last month I drove my friends scooty pep (4stroke) its pick up is no near to the 2 stroke one.atlast we sold this scooter 6 months before as its parts getting rustedPros:1.easy drivability(gearless)2.pick up, low maintenance.3.good suspension.
So better ride.4.reasonable mileage (40-45kmpl)5.its engine, transmission components had good reliability, didnt give any problem during that timecons:1.inspite of a 2 stroke it lacks top speed.2.poor build quality... it rattles (may be because of second hand vehicle)3.plastic quality is relatively poor, I changed the choke lever abt ten times as it easily breaks when I apply it.4.its air filter is bad, its engine stopped in middle of journey and wont start, as the carburettor nozzle will easily get dirts frequently (in a month or less). As this is a second hand scooter the above cons may or may not be correct... but still its a good scooter...
