I have been driving my Samurai since 1995...and trust me, it lives up to its tag of a no-problem bike.
I have done many miles with it..mostly city driving...but on a few occasion have traveled up to a distance of 200 Kms at one go...with few halts in between..those were for my own recovery..soft drinks, tea, water breaks et al.
My Samurai has given me enough satisfaction and would recommend it to anybody interested in buying a new one..though there are quite a few new brands available in the same segment.
The only thing one has to be careful is of overheating on continuos drives beyond 100 Kms..the solution being, giving it and yourself a break to cool-off.
Apart from that, a regular check-up with the mechanic for the mandatory servicing, topping up of the 2T oil and a change in the spark plug after every 25, 000 Kms will see you having a smooth and hasslefree ride as long as you want.
It wont zip like a Yamaha RX but can surprise you with its relatively smooth pick-up and cruising. The high CG also leaves riding comfort a little less than desired but the manufacturers never claimed it to be a cruiser bike. Its good for city driving and the mileage of approx 45 kms/litre is just fine.
Overall Satisfaction.....100 percent
