I was planning for Activa but after it’s test ride I couldn’t resist its handling. Also wanted to avoid attitude of Honda showrooms.
And even after 2 years and 22000+ KM of run I feel the decision was good.( Final free service done recently)
The service is really good by TVS(at least in my area) with random call back for rating and vehicle performance from service center and Head Office.
I too got spark plug and filter replaced when suggested and throttle wire, speedometer cable replaced when they stopped working. And it’s about how you take care of your bike and there will not be an issue with mileage or starting trouble.
The only problem is its front shock absorbents are not that great, but in city drive I can live with that. Rest everything is real good.
The body balance thing really works, and I still enjoy its handling whenever I ride it.
Even some friend borrows for a short ride nearby, he really praises my choice.
