I bought this scooter 3 weeks ago. It is too early to write review. But I would still like to write & I’ll also update this after 6 months.
Following were my requirements:
The scooter to be used in Ahmedabad’s crazy traffic
The roads are quite bumpy these days
Good mileage
My wife should also be able to drive(her height is 5.1 ft)
Low maintenance
The storage must be able to carry my full size helmet
Able to easily park in parking
Metal body
Before purchasing this one, I studied all available scooters for almost 2 months. I also took the test ride. I also read reviews on various websites. After all these, I decided to go for Wego. And I must say that my decision seems correct so far. I purchased this at Rs. 54400 - on road price - after some bargaining.
I am not able to find any fault so far in this scooter except that the mileage is a bit lower. But it should improve after some usage.
The good things about Wego are as follows:
The ride is very comfortable. I feel like riding on & on for hours. The telescopic suspentions help a lot(Activa doesn’t have this). The height & width are lower compared to others so I am able to park easily. The balancing is amazing. I don’t have to put my feet down till almost near-zero speed. The engine is like bike. Braking is good as well.
I would recommend this one anytime.
I won’t comment about fuel consumption right now as it is too early.
It has been 5 years now & it is still working out great.
