Music is like art. I may not be able to describe why I like it, but in both cases I have to feel it to enjoy it.
My 20 Favorite Songs Are:
Anne Murray, (a Canadian):
She sang a song calledCould I Have This Last Dance For The Rest Of My Life. It is a very romantic song.
The Beatles
I loved their song called, Let It Be, because it was quite different than any other song they sang. I was so proud of them when the let a group in Israel use it, and they wrote the words toSola-he, a song of peace.
Celine Dions:
I like most of her songs but my favourite isA New Day Has Come. I like this song, because when I am sad, this song gives me hope, that a new day will make my life better.
Fat Boy Slim(from the movie Moulin Rouge):
SingingBecause we Can. I love to dance the Can Can, and that is what this song is based on.
Bob Hope, singingThanks For the Memories:
He didnt sing many songs, (Bing Crosby sang and he was the comic), but this is one of the few songs he did sing. He sang this song on his show and to the troops in 5 wars.
Ira and George Gerwins song, Embraceable You.:
This is another song my husband and I loved to dance to.
From Josh Groban album Closer
David Fosters music, Never Let Go. Is a mixture of ethic and opera songs, and is quite unique.
Patsy Clines song calledAlways:
This is my husband and my special song. A lot of other people have sung this song, but they made the beat too fast. It should be sung very slow, so you can slow dance to it.Ill be loving you, always. With a love thats true, always.
K.D.Langs song Miss Chatelaine.:
I worked as a volunteer when the Commonwealth Games were in Edmonton, and she sang this song then. It brings back wonderful memories for me.
New Orleans sung by Harry Connic Jr.:
I like it because it reminds me of a city I love to visit.
The Platters singing
I Heard It Through The Grapevine. It reminds me of what people that gossip do, and reminds me that I shouldnt gossip.
Its A Quarter To Three, sung by Frank Sinatra:
It reminds me of when we were young and stayed up late, going to bars, We smoked a lot, and drank until we were drunk. Then we took a taxi home.
Rod Stewart, (from the American Song Book Album):
I like the song, Ill Be Seeing You. When my mother was dying of alzheimer disease, and didnt know me any more, I use to sing this song to her. Some how it got through to her, and we both cried.
Gloomy Sunday sung by Billie Holliday:
This is a jazz song, that I play when I am very sad. I can feel her pain, because it is the same as mine.
Travis Tritts song:
More Than Youll Know. This is a song about older people, who are still in love. His wife was very sick, and was in the hospital. He couldnt afford to buy her flowers, so he picked some from other peoples gardens. This song was written for her.
U2 from their Sunday Bloody Sunday Album:
I likeA Singing Bird In An Open Cage. This song is so peaceful and helps me to relax.
Gordon Lightfoot
I like the songEarly Morning Rain. I like this song because I like to wake up in the morning and hear the rain, on my window, the birds splashing in the puddles and the smell of grass.
Van Halen, from his Van Halen 3 Album:
I likeThe Cradle Will Rock, that tells such a sad story of rebellious children and how their parents react.

Judy Garland singing, Somewhere Over The Rainbow. When I see a rainbow, I believe G-d is sending me a message that things are going to get better, (Ive never seen a rainbow when I am happy).
XTC, from their Apple Venus, Pt. 1 Album:
I like the songRiver Of Orchids. I love orchids and I would love to walk through a river of them, in London, or any other place I love to visit.
Yanni from his Live At The Acropolis Album:
I likedUntil The Last Moment. This song is full of tenderness, and when I close my eyes a listen to it, it reaches my heart.
Zamfir from his Love Songs album:
Zamfir plays the pan flute. His songs have no https://lyrics. I likeSend In The Clowns the best. Even though there are no worlds, his flute talks to my soul.
