This novel and especially the movie are super-hyped. Atleast the novel which I read was OK. I need to see the movie only for Robert Pattinson;-) I loved his pics on IMDB.
It was a quite a predictable story with the good winning over the evil. Poor Bram Stroker’s concept of scary vampires is a big tata, bye-bye now and here come the’new’ hot n gud luking vampires. The story caters well to the adoloscents and their concept of romance, besides giving them small thrills with the suspense and action. But adults like me cant identify with the’chills’ and equally not with the’thrills’.
I sometimes wonder that if the couple’Edward and Bella’ will ever get to do something beyond kissing or not.coz Edward might loose control half way and start scking her blood:-p But still Bella is OK coz this is what is’Sachha Pyar’ which seemed to exist only in Bollywoood. This is real funny. I dont know how many people from Gen-Nxt will be able to relate to this platonic concept of love. I wonder if the Twilight series got popularity in US due to story or Mr Pattinson;-)(The later looks more logical)
I am so amused by this concept that I am all ready to read New Moon, not becoz I am a great Meyer fan.but to see what happens next in this bachha log wali is-story. This is gud break for all silly girls who swear by Mills and Boons. They get some gud change by reading this one.
