Twilight- A Wonderful lovestory

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer is a beautiful love-story between a human and a vampire. Yes I use the word beautiful and love in the same line with a word defining a monster, because Edward Cullen is far more than a monster. He is a vampire that has shown us the meaning of nobility, sacrifice and selfless love.

Isabella Marie "Bella" Swan(later Bella Cullen) is the fictional protagonist of the Twilight series, written by Stephenie Meyer. The Twilight series, consisting of the novels Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn, is primarily narrated from Bella’s point-of-view.

In Twilight, Bella moves to her father’s home in Forks and meets the mysterious Cullen family, and falls in love with Edward Cullen, who saves her from an accident which was impossible to be saved. She’s very perceptive so she soon discovers that Edward is a vampire, a 17 year old vampire since 114 years! But love is unconditional, irrevocable and so they fell in love with each other. Bella expresses a desire to become a vampire herself, against Edward’s wishes, because she believes there is no life without Edward, and Edward is scared being a vampire he has lost his soul. The greatest question is how far will you go in loving someone.

For those who criticise twilight for weak characters or storyline should know, the protagonists are teenagers and the story is one that is loved by millions of fans and a Hollywood series no less.Sure there are spoofs made on the film but one things for sure love it or hate it but you can’t ignore it. Edward Cullen is a dream man for every girl, if only he was human. Sigh!

There are some amazing and unforgettable lines in the novel.
