Tornados are known as Twisters in the USA.Jan De Bont who gave us Speed the best action movie gives us another spectacle to see goggle eyed.Again here the F/X dept is there in full force and they do a mighty good job in recreating tornados on screen.Helen Hunt who is known for her more meatier roles in movies like What Women Want and As Good As It Gets is wasted here, Bill Paxton is in good form in this flick.This movie shows the efforts made by a team of scientists to study tornados and what actually causes them.And to do that they plan to release gadgets into the interior of a tornado which will give the relevant data to them.Needless to say the work is extremely dangerous.As usual there are the bad guys who gat their comeuppance in the end but not until you are treated to a mind boggling array of special effects seen on the screen.The monster tornado they encounter in the end which is called The Finger of God is to be seen to be believed for the fury it unleashes.If you get a chance to see it on the big screen do not miss it or else see it on Star plus.
