I use Twitter for many reasons:
1) My network is global and a lot of my overseas contacts use it and
1a)It is a good tool in Japanese and other information-dense languages
2) I find the text-based, short-form construction of communication suits me
3) After many years in chat rooms, I find I have little problem following conversations that are spread out over time, with people stepping in and out of the flow in a non-linear fashion.
4) It provides me real-time news streams
5) It gives me access to readers and writers, peers and competitor in every industry I care about.(A number of my industries are poorly represented. But I know why and I don’t care so much.)
Its a good source of News . You can follow news channels and can get real time updates.
