I was playing around with the Uber app basically trying to see how the Free ride option using PayTM works. So I did a mock booking of Uber Black on 27th November, 2014 evening. I thought that after the booking, the option to pay through payTM wallet would show up. But I found that the app automatically accepted my booking and immediately I got a call from the driver.
I told him that the booking HAS TO BE CANCELLED. I cancelled the booking through the app but to my utter dismay I found out that they charged me Rs 150 on my credit card.
From morning today I have been trying to connect to Uber via twitter( through the uber_blr account). I also tried contacting the Uber guys by filling a form of customer support. But yet to receive any sort of response from the other side. I am completely appalled and disconcerted by the customer support service of Uber Bangalore.
