This happened with one of my friends. She booked an Uber cab at around 10 pm to leave from my house to hers.
The cab came and the driver told us that he was standing some 2 kms away from the pickup point, outside a bar. He told my friend to go there because he will not come to the actual pickup point. When we forced him to come to the actual pickup point, he told us that he would start the trip from that place itself.
We have already heard uber’s so many cases in news that we got really scared & felt so unsafe that we ultimately cancelled that trip as we could not risk her safety.
