Yesterday I booked a cab from uber to secundrabad railway station.
I had my train from secundrabad at 3: 00 pm so I booked it at 12: 30 so that I will reach early and I didnt want to miss the train.
After booking confirmation the details of the driver was provided on app.I was supposed to get a call from the driver. I did not get any call from the driver and the contact number provided by uber which was out of reach.
After trying more than 15 minutes finally finally I Spoke with him he will be at my place within next 20 minutes that’s what the driver said.
I was waiting for him with my luggage nearby the road because I was being late.30 minutes passed but neither cab arrived nor I got any call.
I called him by asking where is he but he said that he can’t come because he is not in mood to go railway station.i was like why did u confirm the booking if you were not interested, why did you keep me waiting and wasted my time, then he started speaking telugu and cancelled my ride.
Again I had to book the cab by paying 3 times more price because of surging in price.Finally I reached the railway station and had to pay extra 53 rupees for cancellation charge.I paid 3 times more than the actual fare + 53 rupees cancellation charge, even he was the driver himself who cancelled the trip.
