Uber is one of the biggest cab service provider in the world rather we can say that it is the biggest one.
With regards to services; uber tries its best to satisfy its customers worldwide.
Though uber is a good service provider, there lies some lecuna in its services.
First of all, let me discuss about its rates. Previously it was too high but now uber has diminished its rates by rs1 to rs 2 per km. Due to its basic fairs the effect of its rate cut dimishes. Uber is earning at the same rate.!
At at time of holidays and any festival uber does something to communicate with its customers and let them cele_45brate that particular festival with uber. For example; during durga puja uber provides services of band baja free of cost and uber desi are some common examples. I am not saying there is any drawback here.
But the lecuna is on the fact that when anyone tries to book the particular festive cele_45bration oriented cab; he fails .! Trying again and again he fails. Its your luck if you gets an oppertunity to cele_45brate with uber. I remember, few months ago uber gave an oppertunity to its customers to ride harley davidson bykes. many tried but only few suceeded. this is bad. why uber feels that some are eligible and others are not.? It feels bad when you friend after riding harley devidson come in front of you and smiles at you saying; try again try again.one day you santoshkr80 suceed.
Everyone hates these kinds of situations. Now, let me talk about the availability of the cab. avaiilability is good but in remote areas of a city the service of uber is very poor. Its your luck if you are able to book a cab whenever you want. It case of emergency, you may not get uber.
It has always been a complain from indian customers.that uber hires drivers without inquiring about their ethical backgrounds. And it even does not verify their infromations provided by them. About a year ago; when uber was new in india, in Delhi a uber driver raped a girl travelling thereon. This rises a big question on a girls safety. is uber safe for girls.? Its a big question here.!
Now let us talk about its price levels. whenever you book an uber you always get cabs available @ 1.6x to 5x. Is a normal middle class person eligible to give 2-4 times more money with its tight financial position.? A question arises. is uber not for middle class people.?
Uber runs two variety of cabs in kolkata. One has lower price and other have higher price. the lower price cab always accompained by 2x to 5x fairs. Whereas, higher price cabs are accompained by 1.6x to 3.5x fairs. thus basically the fair of lower price cab is more than the fair of higher price cab. is nothing but a comedy. strange but true.
There is no doubt about that, that uber has provided employment to many of the individuals in our country. It provides a handsome salary to its drivers and many other incentives. It is surely too beneficial for its employees.
