There are lot of taxi service providers around us. But Uber is different and excellent in many ways from those. The most appealing part of Uber is availability of ride in every corner of city in affordable fare.
Uber provides the application for iOS and Android mobiles. I am using iOS app and my experience is best so far.
Main features of this app and service are,
You can choose the pickup and drop locations by search or manually on map
You can track the nearby taxi and your travel on realtime map
Variety of cars available as per need(From hatchback to sedan)
You don’t need to carry the cash. When your ride finishes fare will be debited directly from your Paytm wallet.
It also have cash payment option(but I will not suggest it)
Easy interface in app. So easy to use.
Uber provides the promos sometimes.(Like 50% off for next 5 rides, which is awesome)
Uber service is 24/7 however there are happy hours in which you can ride in almost half fare than usual.
Average arriving time of taxi is around 5-6 min after booking the ride.
There are few negative parts also,
Cash Payment after ride is risky as sometime Uber shows outstanding from last ride even after paying the driver.
You must have to tell the drivers to follow the maps on their mobile. Sometimes driver don’t watch their mobiles and that wastes your time on road in finding the destination.
Sometime it happens that drivers are very impatient and cancel the ride after waiting for 2-3 minutes.(It doesnt matter as next ride can be arranged in just 5-6 minutes)
