Udaipur is a city of Rajasthan. It is one of the best place in Rajasthan that must be visited. I had visited Udaipur last year, it is really a nice place. Udaipur is surrounded by Hills.
Udaipur is well connected with all other cities of India. Trains from Delhi, Mumbai Kolkata are easily available for Udaipur. Udaipur has an airport also, it is a domestic airport, flights for different cities in India are available from here daily.
It is also connected with Road routes from Ahmedabad and different local cities of Rajasthan.
Udaipur is a very nice city especially if you loves to visit forts. Fort of Maharana Pratap is in Udaipur. This is a really nice spot. Different other sites like zoo, lakes can be visited here. Pichola Lake is in Udaipur beside the fort of Maharana Pratap.
Hotel Taj is built in this Lake only which is one of the famous hotels in India.
There are a lot of hotels available in Udaipur. Every type of hotels are there ranging from very costly to economical ones. I had book the room there for 700 rupees per night.
Police service in the city is very good. As it is a famous tourist spot police are very alert here.
