Pls be beware about Ujjawal National Movers and Packers while availing the International Cargo services. They don’t have any experience in international Air Cargo services even though they claim otherwise on phone and on their web site. They( Mr Ajeet Poonia & all) are nothing but a bunch of cheaters and looters. I had a really worse experience which compelled me to post this feedback. Just to give you a feel of my mind I would like to share my whole interaction with them.
I had booked Air Cargo(10 Boxes containing household goods) from New Delhi to Yangon, Myanmar with them and paid full money(Rs 60000/-) in advance on 9th October’ 17 for door to door delivery. I asked them to send the cargo when I finalize and confirm to them the local address in Yangon, Myanmar. They even gave me due receipt of full payment and assured me that I now don’t have to pay any money further and it will be their responsibility to do the door to door delivery. They even said that it will not take more than 7-8 days for full delivery.
On 22nd October I informed them to send the cargo to the local address finalized. Mr Ajeet said that he will send the cargo on 26th Oct citing Diwali/Chatthh Puja Holidays. I said OK. However when I again checked with them on 27th Oct, Mr Ajeet said that he will send them in a day or two as there are some logistical issue which got stuck.
On 2nd Nov’17, I received a msg from Mr Ajeet that I need to pay another Rs 10800/- as Tax(GST), only after that he will send the Cargo. I immediately called to Mr Ajeet and asked him why he was asking extra money when it was clearly mentioned while collecting cargo that all payment is already done and I don’t have to pay any more. In a very rude way he said that I need to transfer this money immediately if I want my cargo to be sent to me, otherwise he will not send it. Though I tried to persuade to him that it is highly unprofessional on his part but he was not in a mood to listen to my point of view.
Considering the situation that I was outside India and my important household items are held ransom by Mr Ajeet, I agree to pay him thinking that at least I will get my stuff(which contained many memorable items loved by my kids) . I paid the Rs 10800/- on 3rd Nov through NEFT and again asked him to send the cargo now and complete the Door to Door delivery. Mr Ajeet assured me that he will send it next day through Thai Airways, will deliver it at my door step and I need not worry further. On 5th Nov he sent the cargo through Thai Airways(but subletting it using Falcon Air Cargo services for Rs 19800/- only, which I came to know later when I went to airport to get my cargo released) and shared the way bill with me for tracking.
I started tracking the cargo which reached Yangon on 6th Nov’17 evening. Same evening I received call from him that I need to go to Airport to show my documents to Customs Official to establish that I am the eligible owner of the cargo. As I was bit skeptical now considering the dubious behavior of Mr Ajeet, till now, I said that I will only show only my documents and any payment has to be borne by either Ujjawal or Falcon Air Cargo. Mr Ajeet again assured that I need not spend any money and all the things will be taken care by Thai Cargo as he has paid for Door to Door Delivery to Falcon Air Cargo Services.
On 7th Nov, I went to Airport with my documents with Thai Air waybill and showed them to Yangon Cargo group. They asked me 10000 MMK(INR 500/-) which I paid. There was no sign of any person of Ujjawal or Falcon Air Cargo Services nor were my calls getting answered by Mr Ajeet. I was continuously calling him since morning till 4 pm but no response from him at all. All ready frustrated with the complete ordeal I decided to utilize the services of any local custom agent to get my Cargo released but it was only after I spent another Rs15000/- more including delivery to my home.
In the nut shell, I was really cheated by scrupulous and fraud person named Mr Ajeet Poonia heading the Ujjawal National Packers and Movers. So wanted to make sure that this incident is known to all the gullible people who are either planning or want to avail the International Cargo services from Ujjawal National Packers and Movers.
