Umaid palace also called as chittar palace is located in the city jaodhpur in rajsthan. it is the hills area and also the biggest private residence also. it also group of taj hotel and managed by them and named after maharaja Umaid sigh. this palce has total 347 rooms for royal family to serves.
the founation of building and palace made is in 1929 and completed in 1943. the construction workers are from commonly chittar community that we also called as chittar palace.
I enjoy visiting this place very much gives the essence and feeling of royal tradition and there royal life style . This building has also museum, war rooms for infantry and weapon and there royal cloths and rooms silky and costly jewelry and there furnitures and all although most of the art is not open for visitors but what you will see gives you the best memories for your life.
