Usually I am a person who doesn’t even think of watching such movies...slow...dull...pale...but I was taken aback...i was wrong...
I have loved watching every scene of this movie...oh my god...i still dont believe I love this movie...so much that now I am eager to watch the original version enacted by the flawless Rekha.The picture was infact very touching...and I can say that this is the first movie of Aishwarya’s which I adore her acting...she has done it very well...and lived the role of the courtesan Umrao Jan. And not to forget the https://lyrics....my gosh!!!!!!!! Every word spelt in the movie carries a ton of meaning....JP Dutta has spun a fantastic dialouge sequence, spell bound....and the https://lyrics...they are also fantastic...those meanings...wow...the lyrics are so nice and meaningful...the sets and the costumes also had a very costly look and resembled the old culture of the courtesans....especially those of Lucknow...
Overall I can say that this is a movie for those who love art, drama and traditional music...not for the fast track...
