I have salary account in Keshwapur, Hubli branch. While opening the account they told that we can maintain zero balance for salary account. Recently went to withdraw my salary amount, the Manager in Keshwapur branch said it is not salary account as the companys total annual credit is lower and not meeting the required amount to operate the account as salary account. How can the bank agree to tie up with the company for salary account and deny for zero balance.
Recently when I went to bank, to withdraw amount, I filled the withdrawal slip for Rs. 30, 000/- The manager refused to pay the amount based on withdrawal slip she asked to use ATM card to withdraw Rs.25, 000/- and the remaining by cash.
When asked for cheque leaf she denied to issue even though I was ready to pay the amount for single cheque leaf. She says if you need money operate through ATM or else take cheque book. Is it mandatory for an individual to have a cheque book and ATM to operate the account. She talked rudely and shouting like a country brute.
Even though we check the option while filling account opening application form for monthly statement, SMS alert, Internet banking they dont activate it. More over every facility is charged Internet banking is not free, SMS alert charged. We need to fill separate form for monthly statements. There is no professionals working in this bank. The worst bank I have ever come across.
