I’d applied for tranfer of SB a/c from Chennai’s T Nagar Branch to Sarat Bose Road Branch in Kolkata, by routing the documents thru’ Kolkata Branch.
Since the delay was substantial, I called up the ombudsman. They were prompt & assured that the transfer would be expedited.Finally, I recd a call from the Kolkata Branch confirming transfer but they said that the Chennai Branch had not sent the signature cards to them. However they agreed to open the account.
They have introduced Flexideposit scheme by which excess balance of your Sb a/c gets converted into FDs automatically (Commonly known as ’Sweep’ facility in high-tech private banks).But no one was able to tell in what multiples and kept confusing me.
When I asked if & when CBS would be installed, no response
