I have very old account in Union Bank of India(i.e. since 2000) Last 2 years I have did many transactions and have few fixed deposits too.! Inspite of complaining many a times for the ATM Centers & the ir-responsible customer setup & the rude behavior of the management in Ghatkopar Branch; their management have never took any collective measures against them. Below are the complaints which I have come across:-
8 months back, Dombivali & Ghatkopar ATM’s were not working. Have you heard that ATM attached with the branch is not working? Yeah but this can only happen with Union Bank of IndiaIn April month I had visited Ghatkopar Branch for the renewal of FD’s; but their the concerned person was very rude in the way of speaking. We said him, “Is the way of speaking to the customers”, His reply “bahot dekhe aap jaise customer, chahiye to discontinue karwalijiye aapka account aur FD; hamari bank ko koi fayda nahi hone wala hai agar 10-15 customer nikal gayenge to”. I am just concerned about the way they talk to the customers.My Sisters husband have lost his wallet while traveling, he tried to call atleast more than 40 times in their customer line – but they haven’t recd any of the call. Then I tried the same no. from Mumbai; as I was worried about the theft through the ATM card. Do those guys sleep in the day time?
From there onwards, I have referred my group, relatives, contacts to have account in any of the bank but not from UNION BANK OF INDIA – this bank is blacklisted from my list. I do have accounts in ICICI, SBI, Federal Bank, Axis Bank.
I am not going back to the UNION Bank for any more co-operation or to renew my FD’s. I will transfer my all FD’s once it is renewed.
