I regret to say this but this is the fact, "dont make a mistake of buying any phone from UNIVERCELL" and do not waste money on the insurance they sell for those phones. They don’t work. Its been 8 months since I have raised a claim request( claim # 33470) for my lost phone( HTC Butterfly worth 46, 000 Rs) and till date, I have not got the claim.
I have submitted all the documents to Oriental insurance through Univercell only as I thought univercell can co ordinate better but oriental insurance has lost all the submitted documents and now they want me to resend it. I am sick and tired with the tireless follow ups done with univercell, Alegion and oriental insurance. I have just requested for the cancellation of my claim knowing that I will only lose more money and time in redoing things I had done 8 months back.
These guys are very incompetent and inefficient at their work. I initially thought of taking a legal action but now, I feel its a lesson learnt for me that we should not relay on some TOM DICK AND HARRY kind of retailers. Mr. Satish Babu( founder of univercell) Just having numerous outlets don’t bring you name and fame. Have some basic ethics of business for you to grow. Store Manager of Basavangudi, Bangalore sucks big time.
He is least bothered to know your customer’s grievance. He is damn rude and ignorant. I am also an entrepreneur and I would never tolerate this kind of behavior or attitude from my employees.
