U-Pack is a Mumbai, India based company engaged in design, printing, manufacturing & distribution of a wide range of packaging materials such as Corrugated Boxes, Cardboard Boxes, BOPP Tapes, Bubble Wraps, Courier Bags, Stretch Film, etc. They claim to provide package design solutions to a wide array of industry and end user applications.
Pros:
> They offer low volumes at low pricing.
> Wide array of products and solutions.
> Clever SEO. They are always right on top of online searches for packing and shipping supplies in India.
> The whole process of ordering and shipping is automated.
Cons:
> They do not disclose their business address on their website. So that disappointed customers should neither approach them physically nor send legal notices if need be.
> The above point almost questions if they are even a legit business.
> Very low quality products and inconsistent product quality with about 75% wastage. The quality is far from what’s shown on their website. Please check photos attached. Unfortunately unable to load more in detail.
> They handpick and perhaps fabricate only 5-star reviews and only those gets posted on their website. This is a dishonest practice to mislead customers.
> Very poor and frustrating customer service or support with no follow-ups. Commitments, if any, are almost always broken. It appears that they lie to customers only to get you off the phone.
> Very poor communication as all emails have to be followed-up with multiple phone calls as no one proactively responds to any emails and so no acknowledgements. The cycle repeats itself until the customer gives up and no physical office address exists for us to go and visit them for a resolution.
> Even when an order has been sent incorrectly they will make you run from pillar to post regardless of how much business you may have entrusted them. They don’t value customers and nor do they care about customers’ feedback.
Conclusion:
On their website a lot of fancy and quality products are photographed and listed. But what you receive is low quality and inconsistent products. So if you are seeking quality and consistency then this is an eCommerce that’s best avoided.
I’m not sure how they are still in business. This is an eCommerce whose products makes no difference with whatever they are promising to offer. All the bling posted on their website is of no value. Any new business that can offer better quality and consistency will easily win all of their repeat customers in no time.
If low pricing and low quantity is what you seek and you don’t care about quality then this is just perfect with no customer service or support.
