I was trying to register for one of the upgrad courses. One of their counsellor called and took all the details. I got something as a offer letter. Somewhere in the offer letter it is hidden that they hold back Rs.10000 if I cancel the registration. The counsellor called me and said there will be a link provided for payment. It took a week’s time for the link and it was just two days left for the start of the course.
Since at the last I got a call, I got into a dilemma and paid Rs.10000.
The counsellor did not specify Rs.10000 is non refundable, but it was hidden somewhere in the offer letter.
But due to some urgent financial issues I had to back out and applied for a refund.
Now there is no refund being provided.
They are only interested in selling and marketing their courses. The cost of the courses are also too high.
Hope they revise their refund policies and course fees.
Also be more genuine in educating people than only looking at selling courses.
