I had tons of miles er... enough for one local US ticket, and was planning to use it. It is lying idle since 2005 and all of a sudden a mail came about United uniting and the mails vanished.

I lost 100K miles earn’t of Delta. My mistake. I could have kept donating 500 miles per annum to a charity and retained till I wanted it to be used. Forgot.
But what US Airways did was to the core. Also the service of US Airways was poor and they had monopoly in Reading, PA Airport. Heard Off?

Southwest is good, compared to the costs they charge. They even give peanuts / pretzels and a drink in longer legs of route.
