My family invested in UTI Bonds way back. However, we are struggling to get back money invested(in 3 names of family members) for long. The front-end to get back the bonds redeemed is supposed to be:
UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited, Mumbai with branches in Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Chennai.
They never respond to telephone calls. I made several calls to their office in Mumbai including toll free number, direct numbers, numbers printed in their letter head, numbers published in their website https://utiitsl.com, etc., with no response or with no result or positive outcome. I have tried 1800 220 306, 022-6793 1010, 022-6793 1016, 6713 1200, etc. I also called up their Bengaluru Office(on 080-2555 3301) with the same result, meaning none picks-up calls and thus no customer service or support.
Is this what we get for investing in UTI? I would like all investors to be careful while dealing with this organisation(UTI ITSL) for anything such as UTI bonds, PAN cards, Properties, Facilities Management, or Investments, etc. This is written to safe-guard fellow customers of UTI and UTIITSL.
I wish central government takes serious actions on them and make them pay compensation to customers for poor and delayed service.
