I have been ordering from Utsav since 2010. I live in the US and generally order sarees for my Mom in India. My mom has always said that the sarees do not look "new" and seem to be washed. In 2011, she complained that Item no. SLDFO352 had small oily looking patches on the fabric.I , initially, put it down to her fastidiousness. But this time, even, I was shocked. If you notice the pics, the thread/ Resham border on the saree looks old and faded with the threads clearly warped and bunched.
This is not the quality expected from a new saree. The store owners must appreciate that in online shopping, the customers place a lot of trust in the merchant as they have no opportunity to physically feel and test the product. Also often, the orders are not processed in time. I am not talking about overseas orders, but within India itself. I find this practice extremely annoying and disappointing. I have written to Utsav atleast half a dozen times but have not got any reply, other than a perfunctory, we will look into it response.
