Utsav. It stands for ?Celebration?. This restaurant is the winner!
I am a Vegetarian by birth and a non-veggie by Karma. I spend almost every alternate weekend having dinner at Utsav. And following are my observations:
Additions:
The quality of food is very high. Every dish that you order is worth the money you spend. I love the BPM.
The place eventhough is almost all the time crowded, gives you a feeling of serenity. The place seems to be at peace with itself. Unlike, other famous places like Paradise,
The service is good. Atleast the guys who work here carry a smile on their faces. I have never come across a moron, who doesnot understand my speech. I dont have to wait for someone to come and fill my glass. The basic part being that I dont have to search form someone to serve me.
the place is fine, as in the ambience is good.
Even when you are waiting for your turn, they serve you some kinda juice, may be jaljeera. And people are polite even when I go and chew their brains out for ??mera number kab ayega??.
A nice gesture by playing Birthday tunes! This is something that even Angeethi lacks! It goes a long way in Customer Service and increases the recall value of the place!
Subtractions:
The overall designing of the place does not welcome appreciation. I felt that the chair, the lights, the table, the beautiful plates...were just not syncing or complimenting each other. Its as if each object stands apart and stands alone. But again, it a matter of choice, although I like the overall look and feel of the place. They still can de a lot better job with it.
The kind of music they play! Have a heart, play some Kenny G or any soft music. I would love it even if they play Romantic Kishore numbers or for that matter any Romantic number for dinner. And not just a CD from some movie as not all songs can go with the occasion.
On weekends, you can expect even a long wait ranging from 20 minutes to 45 minutes!
Apart form this, I have no issues with the quantity of food, as the taste makes up for it!
