Location-I being a hyderabadi visited the place after being recommended by one of my Kerala friends. It is located in a quite lane behind City center and was not that hard to reach as we found boards pointing towards restaurant.
Food-I heard that Kerala is famous for sea food and now I am convinced that it is “really” famous for sea food after having it in Utupura. We were around five and ordered Appams, Seer fish, Anchovy fish, Special fish dish of Sunday(don’t remember the name) and Chicken curry.
All fish items were simply superb. Appams were very soft and freshly prepared in front of us.
I being a hyderabadii could not avoid comparing the chicken curry with the one which we get here in Hyderabad and there is a scope of improvement there.
Ambience-Ambience is pretty decent and I found all waiters in green t-shirts and were extremely cordial. As I was not aware of Kerala food, the owners themselves came and helped me to select food. It was really nice of them.
Service-Service was quick and we got the food which we ordered in 15 minutes. It’s pretty decent time.
Price-Price tag is pretty decent and I found value for every penny which I spent there. Keep it up Utupura…….
