V.V.S.Laxman=> A name that sounded like God when the World Champions Australia who were riding high were shown the face of defeat by the almost single-handed effort and a Mammoth run score by the peerless Laxman.This innings saw him encraft his name as the best innings of all times.
But since than this demi-god hasn’t done anything to lift his detoriting image. Today he has nothing except one innings to boast about. His presence in the middle order has resulted in India losing out a Batsman’s place. Nothing has been done since his rise to fame.
The main problem with indian cricket is that everyone plays for a position in the side and not for the country. The fixation of position in the side is all that the players want.
This is one region where the indian Selectors have to look upon and should start by sacking of V.V.S.Laxman from the national team.
