Vaah! Life ho toh Aisi

Mahesh has always tried serious intense films most of the times, except JDMGRH & PLPY which were tragic comedies.

This time he tries a fantasy film and succeeds largely showing his versatility

Only don’t look for logic as it is like a children film where logic dissapears and what appears is fun

The film starts off in a routine manner till Shahid dies after which the scene betn Sanjay, Shahid and Adil are excellent, the picture of hell and heaven is wonderful, the special effects are top class throughout which is a rare phenomenon in b’wood

Sanju’s entry and many scenes stand out

Shahid entering the world with Adil also stands out

followed by Arshad’s introduction which is excellent but the Hanuman Chalsa shd be trimmed

The second half gets slow as the songs(CHAHENGE TUMHE and TERI YAAD)are forced and the punches are ordinary barring a few

but the last 20 mins are brilliant when Shahid settles scores with the mischief makers

especially Sharat Saxena’s portions are truly hilarious ditto for Sanju’s scenes with Shahid which bring the house down in betn

The climax is also well thought, The scenes which give tribute to VAASTAV and MUNNABBHAI MBBS are hilarious

Music is okay, except the song with the kids(koi app jaisa) and teri yaad yaad

Special effects as said above are top class and novel

Sanjay Dutt always gives his best in Mahesh’s films be it VAASTAV which became very popular to HATHYAR

now he gives yet another memorable performance as Yamraj in which he acts in his inimitable style

and is truly lovable

Shahid Kapur seems to be getting over from the Srk hangover and his sincerity shows throughout

he is superb in emotional scenes

Adil matches him at every step,

Amrita Rao is okay

The child artists especially Parth and Ishaan stand out

Prem CHopra is okay, Sharat Saxena is awesome in the climax, Rajat bedi and Saagar get no scope

Suhasini Mulay is proficient     Plus Points: a well made children film, special effects, performances, climax   Minus Points: second half, forced songs,
