All tamil film lovers lets give it to Gautham, Surya and Harris for giving such a gem of a movie.Rarely you get to see a movie which moves you.The movie is high on emotional content and will surely leave you moist eyed. This one is for the elite who understand cinema.
Gautham’s script of two generations makes for an intersting viewing.What VA makes tick is the most single fabalous performance of Surya.Hats off to Surya who makes sure the legacy of kamal hasan is maintained in Tamil cinema.This face surely speaks.
Gautham knows his craft well and his labour of love will surely rank among his best for future generations.He is taken a huge risk for going with a linear script which doesnt offer any scope for twists and turns.kudos to him.He is ably supported by Harris who burns the screen with "MUNDHINAM", "NENJUKUL PEIDHUM", "ANNUL MAELEA", "ADIYA KOLLADE" with fabalous lyrics by Thamarai and great camera work by Rathnavelu. There were some flaws towards the end of the movie , but I believe the film have been edited by gautham to make it better.
Saw the film at Radhakrishna in bangalore at one of the better theatres in bangalore and so the experince was amazing.
THOSE who are looking for a formulaic enterianment can skip this one and wait for AYAN -SURYA next
