We visited Vaishno Devi for the first time in Nov 2016. And as said usually it was Mata ka Bulava. We just thought of visiting vaishno devi in October and within a week everything was set. We went there through Swaraj Express from Mumbai.
The view was breathtaking from Jammu to Katra. Katra station is a well maintained station and well connected to the main market area.
We started climbing the 12 km steep route to bhawan( the exact location of the temple). The devotees keep on chanting Jai Mata Di. Whenever you feel your energy level has gone low, the same chant just motivates you to keep on going. It is an experience which cannot be shared in words. When you reach Bhawan you will feel the presence of the divine power there. and divinity will be along with you throughout the journey.
The view from above is marvellous. You can feel the nature and environment which we miss in our city life.
Hotels and Accommodation are easily available to you as per your budget. The service is also good.
People here are friendly and trustworthy.
