Me and my family went to Vaishno Devi Mandir last year in December. As way to mandir is from Katra( Jammu) . At 7 in the morning we started our journey and keep walking as distance was around 11 KM till Vaishno Devi. Around 9 in the morning we reached Ad kavari. It is the place where the cave is. Around 12: 30 PM we started our journey again to mandir and at 2 PM we reached there.
It is very much accessible. As now you can take horses and three wheelers also and even you can take helicopters as it is 11 KM long distance. One will feel positive vibes from that place as it is very good holy place.
The whole place Katra till Vaishno devi is very beautiful. In night it shines like a diamond. It is very beautiful place. Also there is very much peace.
Temple is very beautiful. It’s like a heaven there.
In Katra if we talk about hotels. One will not have any problem about finding hotels. Price of hotels is very much affordable. Even you’ll get a accommodation for just INR 250/- per night and rooms are also well equipped with geysers and TV. So price of hotels are very cheap. These are affordable too.
If we talk about saftey, there is lot of saftey.
Security is very tight. Due to this one will feel very safe there. Also it is a holy place and very much safe too.
