I am a Pepsi drinker, but today I decided to try out the competitor’s brand. I decided to try drinking the “new” Vanilla Coke.
WOW! Is all I can say! It was so fantastic, and the taste is out of this world. I was so shocked and amazed at the flavor. I couldn’t imagine a soft drink that tasted like Vanilla, but then I realized that I do like to drink cream soda and it has kind of a Vanilla taste to it too.
I wasn’t sure at first if you would be able to really tell that vanilla was even in the soft drink, but once I took my first drink I was able to taste the vanilla in it. It wasn’t a strong flavor, but it was distinct and you could tell the flavor. It doesn’t seem to have that acid taste that coke seems to have, instead it’s a flavor that is easy to enjoy. It doesn’t over power the cola taste either, which I was pleased with that.
Since I’m strictly a Pepsi drinker I was skeptic, but I now have to give Coke credit were credit is due. I don’t think I will switch completely to this new cola, but when my taste buds needs something new and refreshing I believe that I will keep drinking Vanilla Coke.
Like other soft drinks this cola is still high in sugar, the sugar content is 50g, and the calorie’s per 12 oz can is 160. I’m not sure if you can use this cola to take rust off nails (ha, ha) like you can with Pepsi, since it’s very high in acididic content.
I am not sure if this brand of cola is out yet across the world or not, but I am pleased and happy to say its here now in the great USA! So if you are ready to try something different, then I would suggest you try this new refreshing flavor of Vanilla and coke and let your taste buds decide if they like it. It is best served Ice cold, which helps give you better flavor.
