Me and my friends thinking where to visit for this small vacation the only place that comes to our mind was Varanasi, because we are studying in Allahabad, we planned for varanasi.
We started our journey on bus at 6:00 am and it took nearly 3 hrs to reach there means 9:00 am.
We are hungry so we decided to do our breakfast.we have chosen autos and told then to drop at some south indian food centre, they took us to KERALA CAFE.
It is nearly 9:30 am and we ate dosha and uttapam .The breakfast was good but the prices are little bit high.
We again took auto towards temple, and left us near temple in 10 min and we started walking in the streets to reach the temple, the streets were dirty and the cows are standing on the roads and smell was bad.
we reached temple, and there are many restrictions like Bags, mobiles, etc are not allowed.So we want to keep our mobiles safely, there if you buy puja items in a shop then shopkeeper will accept to lock our mobiles and bags in the locker and locker key will be given to us.Then we brought puja items from shop and locked out items.
We move forward towards the temple and there is a big line and many security checkups.It was nearly 12:00 pm we are in line.We got delayed for a long time and atlast we had our darshan at 2:00 pm.
Now we started our journey to visit Vishwanath Temple in IIT-BHU, and we went there and it was a beautiful and a big campus.
It is 3:30 Pm we are too hungry and decided to eat.Some how we found south restaurent and we ate there .
Now It is nearly 4:30 pm and we want to see all ghats from ganga river.Here we took a long time to settle the money with the boat guys.They were asking Rs 1500 for 8 members, we just rejected but he sticked to us. We bargained with him atlast he took 100 each and explained few ghats.And we saw harathi till 7:30pm I think(i forgot).
Then we started return journey.
Here in varanasi we get Banaras Pattu sarees for low price.
Please don’t give more money for boats.They will demand high amount.
