The website on travelguru gave us a very high impression about the hotel. So, we booked a Garden Villa. And what did we find. this place is bloody isolated from habitation. So, if you do not have your own transport, you are stranded.
Rooms: It ends as soon as it starts. The beds stink of cigarettes. The bathroom knob got locked automatically five times(once with me inside. yeah stupid me could not open it. so, we called room service to open it). Cockroaches and insects share your bed, even they are honeymooning. My kids just loved it.
Food: It will burn your pockets and give you a heart burn. Nothing great in terms of quality, but prices can be compared with any 4-5 star hotel in Bngalore. I just ordered tea and milk, a few snacks for a day. paid 3000. Now, is that not what we all call value for money?
Transport: If you rent a cab, for a 2-3 km drive to Radisson, you can pay as less as Rs.250/-. If its an A/C cab, it goes up to Rs.450/-. The auto guys showed open a training center there.
Beach is right outside the hotel. The pool was also good. We enjoyed it. Everything else was an anti-climax to ll that we had read on the website. Good Luck if you chose this place. May the Goddess of wealth be with you.
