WHY I HAVE NO WRINKLES ON MY FACE

Sixty Years ago I was a very young Ballet Dancer. All People who appear on the Stage must wear very heavy make up and that included me. The base colour was thick and orange and the lipstick was red for the Females and pink for the Men. The only way we could remove is was by using a lot of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly and a half a box of Tissue Paper.

THE BOTTLE:

The Jar use to be made of glass but it is made of a clear hard plastic. You can see the light almost white cream through the plastic. The Jar and the label, (that says

’’Vaseline’’), are a bright blue.

In Canada there is light plastic that covers the top of the jar over the top. Once you cut that plastic off it is easy to turn the top and the jar is open. The writing on the Jar is in both English and French.

THE INGREDIENTS:

’’Vaseline is made of 100 % Petroleum Jelly.’’ That means it has no scent or any artificial colours.

WHY I STILL USE IT TO REMOVE MY MAKE-UP:

I don’t like to use products with a lot of additives. I use it to remove my make-up the same way I did sixty Years ago.

I put a dab on my forehead, on my nose, both cheeks and my chin and then I rub it all over my face. I leave it on for about half a minute and then I remove it with a soft white Tissue Paper.

It is so oily that I wash my face with soap and water to get the Vaseline off.

I am very allergic to many products and I find that Vaseline doesn’t give me a rash.

At 65 I have no wrinkles, (I do have some deep lines from my lips to my chin but they are not as deep as my Friends), on my face so that should tell you how well this works.

THE COMPANY:

’’Unilever Home and Personal Care , (they were once Lever Brothers, Helen Curtis and Chesebrough-Ponds who merged in 1998), makes all the Vaseline Products and many more Products.’’ There web site is:

MY FINAL THOUGHTS:

I know as long as I am alive and wearing make-up I’ll be using Vaseline to remove it. For a 32 ounce Jar I pay $2.00 CAD.
